My name’s Alexis, and I am a tattoo artist working out of Raleigh, NC! I have been tattooing for 6 years and started working out of a private studio last year. I have a Bachelor’s in Studio Art from Meredith College.

I have always been an artist (my first drawing was of a chicken at 2 years old!) and in 2016 I began to work towards my Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art. After my freshman year, I had the opportunity to begin an apprenticeship with very minimal knowledge of the industry- it was terrifying at first but has become one of the best decisions of my life. I’m so thankful I took a chance on tattooing alongside finishing my degree.

Outside of tattooing, I am a figurative artist and oil painter. I enjoy going to live figure drawing sessions to practice anatomy and portraiture which directly relates to my favorite tattoo subject matters!

For all things not art related, you can find me nose deep in a different fantasy book each week. My favorite books are Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson, Between Wrath and Mercy by Jess Wisecup, and Daughter of the Drowned Empire by Frankie Diane Mallis. I am also a fairly avid gamer: my favorite games are Hollow Knight and Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom.
